Who wants to replace Brian Hill? – Zanesville Times Recorder

COLUMBUS – Ten people have tossed their names in the hat to fill Brian Hill’s vacant seat in the Ohio House of Representatives.
Hill vacated the 97th District seat, which encompasses Guernsey County and the majority of Muskingum County, late last year to fill Troy Balderson’s former Ohio Senate seat.
The candidates are:
Calls to Shawn Hoagland, Adam Holmes, Jeanette Moll and Joshua Tilton were not returned.
All state House representatives start with an annual base salary of $60,584.
A panel of four Republican representatives will begin reviewing the candidates, and will interview them on Tuesday.
