Daniel Blank, Douglas County District Attorney, was recently honored with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Service to Youth Award by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland.
“We are honored to present this award to Dan for his dedicated service to our area youth,” stated Todd Johnson, chief professional officer. “Dan’s leadership was instrumental to the merging of the Superior Club with the Duluth Club and continuing the Boys & Girls Club presence in Superior.”
The National Service to Youth Award, which bears the inscription “For long and devoted service to boys and girls,” recognizes Blank for serving on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Superior for ten years and helping to lead the merger of the Duluth and Superior Clubs in 2008. He is currently the chairman of the Resource Development Committee and has also served on the Program and Property Management Committees.
Blank has been actively involved in the Wisconsin Youth of the Year program and the Wisconsin Area Council of Boys and Girls Clubs.
